“Those Low Country Girls” Lyrics
I’ve been out to the West country. Been away and back to the middle of the country. I’ve been all around to all kinds of countries all over this murderous world. I still like those Low Country girls.
Some people talk about the North Country. Some people just wanna breath in the country. Other people say they don’t believe in countries, but I’ve got a flag to unfurl: I do still like those Low Country girls.
Well, there’s one there in particular, though I can’t recall who she is; I went to over there in a great big boat, and I left there in a great big haze.
So just get yourself over to the low countries if you ever wanna know what I know about countries. A lot of people’re trying to control countries, all over this murderous world. But I still like those Low Country girls!
Like I said, there’s two there in particular, though I can’t see how we counted it all; shot through the cellar at the kingdom of springtime, and snuck back over the walls right before the fall.
Yes, I get out to the wide West country, and you know I get to get down in the middle of the country. Hopping all fences at the borders of all countries in this great wild murderous world, I still like those Low Country – but you know I love those Low Country! – said I’m just oh-so-so sweet on those Low Country girls.
